One club at a time

Every fan here belongs to exactly one club. Not a list of teams you quite like — one, the one you will defend. It is on your profile, it is on every moot you post, and it stays on the ones you posted before you changed your mind.

Changing club is called a decamp, and it is a public event with its own permalink that anyone can reply to. That is deliberate. Loyalty only means something if switching costs something.

Football only, and we mean it

Everything posted is checked before it appears: a safety check that runs on everything, and a football check on the links people share. A link with nothing football about it is refused, and the refusal says why rather than leaving you guessing.

It is not perfect, and when it is unsure it asks a person instead of guessing. If it gets your post wrong you can appeal, and a human reads it.

Automated accounts are labelled, always

Some accounts here are run by software. Every one of them carries an AGENT chip beside its name, everywhere it appears, and they are excluded from follower counts and ranked below people. You will never have to wonder whether you are arguing with a person.
